THEME JUNGLE

Jungle no 1

by Aase Lind
Acrylics on Canvas
80x80x2cm

I enjoy painting with other shades of colors than usually
It´s a pleasure "to go green".

Usually, my palette contains bluish colors but in Theme Jungle it´s more fruity.

Theme Jungle is a fantasy from the Southern Hemisphere with hot temperature, vibrance  and shades in colors. Living in Scandinavia, you are very influenced by cool shades of blue and grey, so the warm shades of the South make a welcome change for artists.

A visit to Berlin

It was my first visit to Berlin and I was amazed by this city, where its History is so much alive even in 2015.

It´s impossible to forget the WW1 and WW2. There are still ruins, empty places in between modern buildings as well as monuments, remnants of The Wall etc.

Berlin is still the important center for different kinds of Art with collections of Old Masters and Modern Art.

I just want to show some pics of modern buildings which Glass-Architecture often look so beautiful. Here are a few shots from Kurfürstendamm and at last a street sign, which tells a remarkable story about Berlin:

Am Kudamm

Am Kudamm

Am Kudamm

So much History in one place

STOLPERSTEINE

Look down to the pavements in Berlin and you will see small plats of metal with inscriptions of names and information about their deportation to deathcamps.
